| Almost thirty years ago, I became a divorced mother with two very young toddlers to raise by myself. I had no car, little money and no realistic goals for the future. Later that same year, my father died and I no longer had a man in my life to guide me.
It was during that stressful time when I began searching for something or someone to fill this deep, black hole in my life. I'd always believed in God and felt I was a good person who would go to heaven when I died. Now, with the responsibility of raising two small daughters by myself, I realized I needed help.
I felt drawn to a local church and began attending. Everything the Pastor said made sense. One Sunday when he asked if anyone needed Jesus in their life, my heart said yes! Later that night I finally bowed my head, confessed to God that I was a sinner and asked for His forgiveness. Believing that Jesus died for my sins, I asked Him to be my Savior. A perfect peace filled me. My search was over.
Over the past years, I have grown to love God more and more. I'm still so amazed that He loved me when I was still a sinner. Now, I want to share the Good News of salvation with others. I know my eternal home will be with God. Do you know where you'll spend eternity?
Below, I written Bible verses to help you receive Jesus as your Savior. If you do accept God's free gift of salvation, please write and let me know so I can welcome you to the family of God. If you still have questions, please feel free to write me and I will try to answer them or find someone who can.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
John 14:6 "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 14:27 "Peace I leave you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
I hope you find salvation and peace in Jesus today,
Bonnie
